(( CHARACTER IN PLAY: LILIONNA ))

Summer; warmth, sunshine, growth. There was no summer in Ice, at least in theory. The territory was always cold, frozen, and desolate. If one lived a whole year in the realm of Ice, they couldn't guess when the change of the seasons were. But the inhabitants of this world were strong, and despite their ever morose surroundings, remained a jocular and joyous population. The marketplaces and villages bustled with excitement throughout the year, and the military grew more powerful everyday. But that was just the problem their nation faced. When one rises amongst the rest, all eyes are set on them. Lilionna noticed that threat, and had begun to see it when she visited the old marketplace last.

She contemplated alone in the depths of the castle. It was similar to looking at a mixture of glass and mirror, the very walls of the battlements reflected and glistened the light in a thousand different ways. The interior of the structure itself was clean and had more color than betrayed from outside, with seven different floors comprised of living quarters, kitchens, storage rooms, and more. A playground for children, it would seem, with hidden doors and rooms that ought to be discovered. Through the third and fourth floors from the far east and west ends could be found the stairwell into two sets of parallel towers on each side. The tallest on the eastern side was named the Royal Tower, as it held the single chamber for the reigning King or Queen of Elemental Ice.

This chamber was barred by a solid door of Blue Ice, as the rest of the castle was made from, with history carved into its works. Within, a large nest of pillows, silk, and fur was surrounded by antiques of the nation's past. A desk of wood was laden with finely handcrafted vases and a tapestry of a plethora of colors hung behind it on the right wall. On the left, an armour of fine silk clothes and jewelry stood beside a display case holding a beautiful cut sword and a pair of steel claws.

Lilionna was nestled into the linens of the nest in the middle of the quarters. Her large and strong wolven frame became her with beauty and elegance. Her body took a feminine hint with the thinness of her muzzle and legs, beyond their underlying muscle. The fur along her body was individually lined with ice, and glistened in both sun and moon light a recognizable white-blue hue, and was layered upon layers with thick tufts as if she had a mane down to her belly. Her paws were the color of the sky on a snowy morning, and when she walked, it was said she looked one with the ice and snow she tred on. Most unmistakable were her eyes. Sharp, crisp, and menacing, they glowed a cyan colder than Hyacintho.

"I must find allies." She said at last in that cold evening light of a waning summer sun.

►Queen◄Of►Ice◄ Empty King-Of-Air

Post by Nkoroah Sun Jun 07, 2015 11:56 am

A lithe figure traversed its way through the razor snow that bit and howled icily at the foreigner. The wind gave him no trouble, but the biting frost threatened to bury him. He was greeted by patrols along the outskirts of the Ice Kingdom who took him into custody, making their way toward Castro Glaciem. As they entered the large grand castle, the lithe figure shook snow from his thin fur and looked in subtle awe at the grand magnificence. Never, in all his days, had he seen such beauty from such treacherous conditions.

Crisply, the atmosphere of the hall had always stood still. Unwavering and unmoving, it did not carry scent, but wafted it around like an old friend. Smells danced and twirled in single places for long periods of time before dispersing, and as the King of Air was guided into the main corridor, a wreath of fragrance bounded away from him. Galloping and swaying with harmony, into rooms, across the kitchens, beneath stairwells, until it reached the barred door in which the Queen of Ice pondered. Earthen mountains, crisp breeze, and cawing birds floated into her nostrils and quivered her curiosity. Someone is here, She thought, rising slowly, knocking a carefully designed violet pillow over the nesting.

The wolfess was tall, as her particular element was physically larger than the other eight that reigned Earth alongside her. Her shoulder met the height of thirteen feet, and her castle was built for the occasion. As she trod from her chambers and down the stairwell, her poise never wavered despite no one watching. Eyes narrowing, she reached the third floor and looked over the balcony down to where the clouded cheetah stood captivated by the beauty in which the fortress held in the face of someone who'd never seen it. He is odd, She ventured as she descended closer to her guest. I wonder what he seeks of me.

As she reached the corridor, Lilionna stepped out into the light of the hall. Her fur gleamed like starlight as the moon filtered in through the ceiling of ice. The room was not lit artificially, and shadows danced where the stars could not discover them. She ventured toward G'em Strider, towering over him almost four feet, as she swished around him to scour her malignant gaze over his fur. Scents mingled from across the room, fresh snow and strong wind clashed in a fury of smells.

"You must be G'em Strider, new king of Air, or am I wrong?" Her voice had a lick of femininity against its originally harsh demeanor. "Why have you come here," Her tail tip flicked alongside the rambunctious crawl of her curiosity. This Queen was many emotions bottled into one body. "What do you want?" But she was nothing, if not intimidating.
